Hey Everyone,
Wow I have let way too much time pass. But I am here and I have some treats for you=)....
So I got this amazing makeup palette from Clair's. I really like it, but if I had one complaint it would be that there is no matte colors. They are all sparkly and i like some matte colors. The pigments are great though, they go on very smooth and stay quite well. Oh I almost forgot, the package sucks haha. It looks nice but not at all practical. It looks like a book when you open but it doesn't have like a cover to the colors are exposed. I am sorry i didn't get a pic of it before i organized my stuff. I got bead containers from a craft store for them. Here is a pic to help you understand and see it=)
It works amazing, them stack. Well more like they screw together. I love it, I got this idea from a makeup artist on youtube. Very organized, which I really like and cant funtion without. I used double sided sticky tape to secure it to the container. They are in metal tin like things is you didn't know, a lot like mac's products come.
I also wanted to do a look for you guys. Its a very fun look and it will look great on everyone no matter your skin tone hair color or eye color. i hope you like it=)
So in this it is purple and pink. The pink is optional. This look will look better if you use a couple different purples. You can use one but like I said it will look a little more blended and smooth. Here are the steps to recreate this look=)
1. You will want to prime your eye lids to help hold the color and help them blend.
-you can use a eye primer or a concealer
2. Then find a eyeshadow that is close to your skin tone or a powder foundation (another thing to help blend the colors together)
3. I know this is going to sound really weird but it will help to get the true purple color and make it stay, but you are going to take a black eyeliner pencil and line the lash line and then take it and draw a V on the outer corner of your eye. (make it smudgy and don't make it a harsh thick line but make it kinda thick) once you draw it smudge it with your finger.
3. Now on the black liner you are going to load up your makeup brush with the purple and pat it on the black....DONT swipe like like wind shied motion, if you pat it isn't going to go everywhere and the color is going to be more pigmented.
4. Then with a lighter purple or the same (a lighter is just going to look a little more dramatic) and pat that on the part that doesn't have the black liner.
5. That was all just one the lid, under your crease. Now with a fluffy brush blend like its nobody business lol, also taking it up over your crease and on to the brow bone but not all the way to the brow.
6. With a white or cream color shadow pat that under your brow to high light it.
6 1/2. You can add the pink to the inner corner of the eye if you would like.
7. Now line your eyes with your favorite liner to define you eye, and don't forget mascara=)
And your done=)
I really want to get some videos filmed and posted so its a lil bit easier to follow me but till then this will have to do.
Remember to have fun with it...it may not look the best your first time so practice=)
But you are beautiful no matter what. So I wish you an amazing day and have fun playing with your makeup....<3 love you guys...I know there aren't many that follow me at the moment but a appreciate everyone that does. If you like it I would love if you told a friend=) I love makeup and really want to become a makeup artist, so i ask for you to help me on that journey.
Love ya,
Ally<3
